Cloe Vassart

Human Tissue Manager

I graduated with an MRes in Translational Cancer Medicine from Kings College London in 2014. I then went on to work for the University of Oxford within the Oxford Radcliffe Biobank (ORB) and then the Translational Gastrointestinal Unit (TGU). I joined NDORMS in November 2017 as the Kennedy Institute Human Tissue Manager. My focus involves making sure the Kennedy is compliant with the Human Tissue Act (HTA) licence 12217 and Research Ethics Committee (REC) approvals. I am also involved with the Arthritis Therapy Acceleration Programme (A-TAP).

Any queries regarding Human Tissue, REC approvals or sample movement, please do not hesitate to come and discuss it with me, my role is to support and make the process of working with Human Tissue at the Kennedy more manageable for everyone.
