Nan Yang

Oxford-BMS Research Fellow

After medical training in China and an MSc in Hong Kong, Nan received her MD from the University of Manchester in 2013. She stayed on as a post-doc in Manchester working on Circadian Rhythms, particularly Osteoarthritis and Breast Cancer.

From January 2019, Nan worked with Professor Jagdeep Nanchahal at the Kennedy Institute, investigating Fibrosis and Tissue Regeneration in relation to Dupuytren’s disease. In March 2020, she began an Oxford-BMS Fellowship in the same group, focussing on liver fibrosis. Beyond the lab, Nan is a member of the Public Engagement Committee for the Society for Endocrinology.
