The University of Oxford has awarded the title of Associate Professor to Adam Cribbs and Luke Jostins.

Associate Professor Adam Cribbs leads a computational biology team with a broad interest in systems biology, immunology and epigenetics. On being named Associate Professor, he said “It’s a great privilege to have been awarded Associate Professor within NDORMS. I owe this recognition because of the hard work and dedication of my DPhil students, postdocs, collaborators and mentors that have allowed my research to flourish.”

Associate Professor Luke Jostins focuses his research on identifying genetic associations with diagnosis or disease prevention in inflammatory bowel disease, and developing statistical techniques to understand the function of genetic risk variants. On being awarded the title Associate Professor, he said “I am delighted and honoured to receive this recognition from the university. I am very grateful to all my group members and collaborators, and particularly to my talented graduate students Benjamin Frot, Alan Yang and Chris Eijsbouts, who worked with me to produce the research that this award recognises.”
