Zifeng Qiu

Zifeng Qiu is a DPhil student at the Nuffield Department of Clinical Medicine, University of Oxford. He received his Bachelor of Medicine degree from Peking University, where he completed his clinical clerkship at Peking University First Hospital and an observership at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital.He later worked as a resident and doing research in the Department of Cardiology at Peking University First Hospital, under the supervision of Professor Jianping Li. 

His research focuses on cardiovascular and cardiometabolic diseases, and he has contributed through multidisciplinary collaborations, publications, presentations and reviewing activities. 

Zifeng is now co-supervised by Dr. Yang Luo and Professor Jagdeep Nanchahal, with a focus on integrative multi-omics approaches to identify potential druggable targets for heart failure and myocardial infarction.
