I am a specialist registrar in Paediatric Gastroenterology. I am working in Professor Fiona Powrie and Professor Holm Uhlig’s groups to investigate the interaction between the immune system and intestinal microbiota in inflammatory bowel disease.
My focus is on characterising immune-microbiota interactions in rare monogenic forms of inflammatory bowel disease, with the aim of identifying pathogenic mechanisms that contribute to polygenic disease.
