Ultra-thin Super-extended Light-sheet Microscope
The ultra-thin super extended (UTSE) light sheet microscope enables researchers to follow up to 100,000 cells in space and in time, while maintaining single-cell resolution and a high control over the cells' microenvironment.
Contemporary gold-standard techniques used in immunology are limited by their low sensitivity and incapability to follow a large number of individual cells in space and in time. This results in a low statistical power, diminishing the sensitivity to small changes that may be biologically critical, and inability to capture rare events. We have developed a unique instrument which aims to overcome these limitations allowing both spatial and temporal imaging of 100,000 cells while maintaining single-cell resolution and a high control over the cells' microenvironment. |
