My name is Yixuan Cao, and I was born in Shijiazhuang, China. I completed my Bachelor degree in Biotechnology in Beijing Normal University, Zhuhai, China and finished my Masters in Applied Biomolecular Technology in The University of Nottingham, UK in 2013. From 2014, I was enrolled in a Marie Curie Program, Euroclast, in the Vrije Universiteit Amsterdam in Professor Everts' group as a PhD candidate. My PhD research was focused on osteoclast precursors in the context of inflammation related bone diseases.
