I am interested in the interactions between immune cells and the environment at mucosal sites. During my PhD, I used two-photon live imaging to study dendritic cell sampling and antigen presentation in the lung during an acute model of asthma. Currently, I am working to adapt live imaging techniques to study immune cell interactions in the gut during colitis.
