David Roula

PhD Student

I'm a visiting student from Austria, where I'm enrolled in my 3rd year of PhD at the Medical University of Graz. My research stay at the Kennedy Institute of Rheumatology is from March until the late of September.

During this time I will be working in Katja Simons group in the field of the age-associated disease osteoarthritis. We hope to answer questions in a process called senescence, which is a state many aged cells find themselves in.
