Ananya Bhalla

Laboratory Technician (Tissue Imaging)

Research interests: inflammatory disease, spatial technologies, image analysis

Ananya Bhalla graduated with first-class honours in Biomedical Sciences from the University of Manchester. She then went on to complete her MSc in Integrated Immunology from the University of Oxford, where she carried out her master’s research project on synovial fibroblasts in developing human joints. Following her interest in stromal-immune interactions, Ananya currently works as an Imaging Technician in the Coles-Buckley research group at the Kennedy Institute of Rheumatology, specialising in Cell DIVE™ multiplexed imaging and RNAscope® in situ hybridisation. As part of ongoing efforts to advance understanding of inflammatory disease, Ananya provides imaging support to visualise single-cell markers in human and mouse tissues.
